The show on Saturday was a huge success!! It was a gorgeous day in Millenium Park and it was so crowded that everyone filtered into the Fashion Chicago tent. I got to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world! StyleChicago put on a fabulously classy event! The other designers were  amazing, I was excited to be in their company. I was next to Nora Del Busto, an incredible clothing designer. Our classic but edgy work complements each other really well and we're looking forward to collaboraing at some point. What fun! I am currently preparing for the StyleChicago 'Designer Shopping Event at Millennium Park'. I was invited to participate in this show and I am very excited to be part of it! At the show I will not only show my production line, but I will also showcasing my custom work, because those pieces tell a story and mean the most to people... I love making custom pieces... the individuality and the meaning of each piece is what makes me love my job so much! Lately I have been working on resetting a lot of client's stones... it's a great way to transform old jewelry pieces into something new and fresh! A current project I just finished is my own version of diamonds by the yard. A client of mine came in and had lots of smaller, beautiful diamonds which she wanted to reuse to create a special piece for her daughter. Her daughter has always been fascinated with the "diamonds by the yard" design,...

This image was taken while walking across the LaSalle street bridge over the Chicago River. I was so grateful to see this beautiful scene while it lasted. A few hours later it was under the clouds. I can't believe it's already time to begin thinking about next summer's shows. With the harvest moon full last night, the application season is now upon us. I'm beginning to build inventory for the holidays creating new collections while keeping up with commissions. Stay tuned for previews and finished works.

                  I love visitors! After being a studio member at Lillstreet Art Center for three years, it was time to spruce it up.
