Resetting customer's stones

I love making custom pieces... the individuality and the meaning of each piece is what makes me love my job so much! Lately I have been working on resetting a lot of client's stones... it's a great way to transform old jewelry pieces into something new and fresh! A current project I just finished is my own version of diamonds by the yard. A client of mine came in and had lots of smaller, beautiful diamonds which she wanted to reuse to create a special piece for her daughter. Harvest Moon = Holidays and Art Fair applications

This image was taken while walking across the LaSalle street bridge over the Chicago River. I was so grateful to see this beautiful scene while it lasted. A few hours later it was under the clouds. I can't believe it's already time to begin thinking about next summer's shows. With the harvest moon full last night, the application season is now upon us. I'm beginning to build inventory for the holidays creating new collections while keeping up with commissions. Stay tuned for previews and finished works.

Settling into Autumn

                  I love visitors! After being a studio member at Lillstreet Art Center for three years, it was time to spruce it up.
