Be Mine 2024

   2024 started off with my second time showing at the Be Mine Art Invitational at Greenleaf Art Center in Chicago February 10 - March 31st. With this piece, viewers were encouraged to write a note and put it in the urn to be burned at a later date (stay tuned).                     Being a 21st century jewelry designer is an exciting privilege. There’s no “right” way to ask anymore - traditions are what you make them. With same-sex marriage and women’s rights, we've been working with couples who are popping the question to each other. It’s been so much fun to turn tradition on its head. Montana Sapphires

  The stones and metals that come together in Rebecca’s sculptural jewelry come from all around the world, and that in itself is a story worth sharing! One of coolest stones she came across in a recent collaboration are Montana sapphires. Their color ranges from light blue to green and are often heat treated to bring out their vibrancy.
